On Sunday, Brimstone, a pro-wrestler, actor and character in comic books and video games, will be making a special appearance at Uncle Louie G’s Italian Ices & Ice Cream in Levittown. Luscious, everyone’s favorite Borderhound from Hound Comic’s Brimstone and The Borderhounds will also be there. Get autograph, take photos and enjoy the afternoon at a meet & greet between 1 and 4pm.
Take a break from outside and take advantage of Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Summer Sundays. Explore the Ultra Small & Solving the Energy Challenge – Visit the Center for Functional Nanomaterials, where Brookhaven researchers probe structures as tiny as a billionth of a meter. Learn about scientists’ latest discoveries in innovative energy technologies and be amazed by “The Magic of Energy”. (Program best for kids ages 10+).
