We’ve come a long way, baby….
LI Parent Source was born back in 2006, a third child for our family, if you will. At the time, my kids were 3 1/2 and brand new, and I was beyond happy to help others navigate the complex parenting world of Long Island. As a full time working mom, I was constantly short on time and spent weekend after weekend running errands and getting everything ready for the coming week. Frustrated with finding out about great events after they had already happened, LI Parent Source became every parents’ “in the know” best friend and provided tons of information on local resources, events and more in one spot on the web.
As almost 6 years have passed since the first incarnation of LI Parent Source (I remember it was very yellow!!), we are changing with the times! You’ll be able to find the same information as you always could on our site, but much more interactive and from more of a personal parenting perspective. What does that mean? The answer is more reviews, more giveaways, more events, more discounts, more guests who will bring you amazing information. In a nutshell, more everything.
LI Parent Source supports all families on Long Island (and beyond!) and hope that we take away some of that overwhelmed feeling you get when you are looking for information. Our site and calendar are updated daily, so be sure to check back often!
