Last month we celebrated moms, and now it’s Dad’s turn! The weather looks like it’s going to be nice (hopefully we are done with all of this rain) and there are some fun things to do, along with some great freebies for Dad. Here’s our list!
Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers is celebrating Father’s Day with a dine-in special for dads and their families in honor of Ben’s 40th anniversary. Customers may purchase one sandwich or entrée at regular price in Ben’s dining room and their father may select his sandwich or entrée of equal or lesser value for only 40 cents. This deal is not available for take-out orders and cannot be combined with any other coupon, discount or offer. And what Dad wouldn’t love a Ben’s hot pastrami sandwich, with some crispy hand-cut French fries plus all the crunchy pickles and creamy, homemade Cole slaw Dad can eat and a bottomless soda to wash it all down!
TCBY is giving dads FREE yogurt on Father’s Day! Certain restrictions apply, contact your local TCBY for more information.
Treat Dad to a free breakfast (value $.99) and a free cup of coffee (value $.75) on Father’s Day at IKEA on Sunday until 11am.
Heckscher Museum Of Art in Huntington invites dads and grandfathers to visit the museum admission-free on Father’s Day. Enjoy over 2,000 works of art – there’s something for everyone!
The Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery is also giving Dads free admission when they are accompanied by their kids!
The Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum is celebrating Happy Fishy Father’s Day on Sunday at 230 for kids ages 5 to 12 – discover various animal dads and make a craft for your dad (bring 4 jar lids with you to create coasters, the larger the better!).
On Saturday, you can visit Garvies Point Museum in Glen Cove and do a special Father’s Day Arrowhead Necklace craft with dad (admission $5 per person).
