National Mom’s Nite Out, the first nationally organized celebration of motherhood that brings today’s moms together both physically and virtually, is this Thursday night (May 10, 2012)!
We all go out with our girlfriends from time to time, so why the need for a national day to do the same thing? Well, National Mom’s Nite Out is an amazing night shared by moms across the country! Maria Bailey, founder of National Mom’s Night Out, started the tradition to let moms celebrate themselves together, both physically and virtually. What does that mean? It means that if you can’t go out to one of the many organized events in our area, grab yourself a glass of wine and get online to celebrate you! Join the celebration through online chats and tweet-ups.
However, if you are able to go out, Long Island has a few different places you can choose to celebrate! Roosevelt Field Mall (630 Old Country Road, Garden City), Walt Whitman Mall (Route 100, Huntington Station) and Smith Haven Mall (Lake Grove) will each be holding their own National Mom’s Nite Out celebrations. Each celebration will be unique to the mall but all will include entertainment, fashion information, refreshments and more.
Whatever you do to celebrate, have a great time!
