With fall sports in full swing, and more kids playing team sports than ever before, kids tend to share their sports equipment without a second thought as they run from school to practice to games and other activities. The sharing of sports equipment can spread skin infections like MRSA, a potentially life threatening antibiotic resistant staph infection. As parents and coaches, we need to be aware and do our part to help prevent the spread of MRSA. One way to do this is to get involved in the Equip Them Well program.
