May has flown by. I mean seriously FLOWN. Maybe should I say floated away with all of the rain we had? Regardless of the terminology used, May is over.
As parents, you all know the steps to the end-of-year-wrap-up. Concerts. Class shows. Class parties. PTA obligations. Teacher gifts. Holiday BBQs. Getting ready for camp. The list is truly never ending.
We had so many additional things happening within our own family during the month that made it crazier than May normally is. Our laundry list included simultaneous business travel, our nephew’s Bar Mitzvah, grandmother’s 90th birthday and family visiting from out of town.
And here it is, May 28, and after a weekend of holiday festivities and a long & hot pool day today, I sit down to write one of the 100 blog posts I have swimming around in my head and quickly realize that we haven’t posted here in almost two weeks.
Have I mentioned that May is really a crazy month?
Well, we are back and will resume our fantastic blog posts and e-newsletter this week! Our Community Calendar is chock full of things to do on Long Island and we’ll be updating it daily. We promise!
